Hong Kong Bar Association scholarship – Charles Ching Memorial Scholarship

Holly Cheng accepts instructions in criminal and related regulatory matters, construction-related matters, and cases involving vulnerable clients, mental health-related issues, medical negligence and personal injury.

She also has experience in multi-jurisdictional matters, urgent injunctions, fraud and asset recovery, commercial disputes and employment matters. She is comfortable appearing at different levels of court and working with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Holly approaches each case with careful attention to the evidence, procedural considerations and the client’s practical objectives.

Holly has contributed to legal research and education, including updating the evidence chapter of Halsbury’s Laws of Hong Kong and coaching secondary school students in mooting and mock trial advocacy. She is a native speaker of English and Cantonese and is fluent in Putonghua.

Outside practice, Holly is an artist working with glass.
